Amethyst

Amethyst comes from the Greek word amethystos, meaning "not intoxicated". Ancient Greeks would make their drinking vessels out of amethyst because they believed that the crystal was a strong antidote against drunkenness. Medieval European soldiers would wear amethyst as a protection in battle. Amethyst is known as the stone of spirituality. It can connect one through intent and meditation to the higher spiritual self. Amethyst has been used throughout the ages to connect to the Divine. It clears the Crown Chakra so that there is a stronger connection with the one's spirit and spiritual guidance. Amethyst aids in helping one find their spiritual path and embrace one's spiritual destiny in life.

Note: Crystals become stronger when one directs clear intention into it.
